Dr. Sawyer has been practicing dentistry in the Irmo area for over 20 years. He is a member of the ADA, SCDA, Greater Columbia Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys treating the entire family – from pediatrics to geriatrics.

He and his wife, Beth, have been married for 28 years and they have two sons, Andrew and Neil. Dr. Sawyer enjoys golf, running, gardening and everything to do with Clemson University.

Dr. Sawyer is a native South Carolinian, born and raised in Georgetown. A lover of the coast, he studied marine biology at Clemson University and the College of Charleston. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983.

Tiffany Grube

Hi my name is Tiffany! I am a native of Irmo, South Carolina. After graduating from high school, I attended Midlands Technical College where I graduated with an Associate Degree in Health Science. I obtained my license to practice Hygiene in May 2007. I have been with Dr. Sawyer since August of 2007.

Outside of work my interests center on my family. My favorite past time is being with my pride & joy, my daughter Peyton.

Veronica Kern

Hi – My name is Veronica. I have been a hygienist since 2003 and have worked in both periodontal and general practices. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. I am a native of Michigan and have been in South Carolina since 2006. I enjoy working with patients to achieve their oral health goals. It is very important to me that patients are educated, comfortable, and confident when making dental health decisions. I believe that an educated patient is an empowered patient!

Barbara Kogut

Hi! I’m Barb and I’m the first person to greet you! I started working with Dr. Sawyer as Front Office Manager in 2006.

I graduated from a small college 30 years ago with an Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and have been in the medical or dental field ever since.

I grew up in Buffalo, NY and moved to Columbia in 1995 with my husband and two children. We have settled into the Southern Lifestyle quite nicely.

Kristal Kneece

Hi, I’m Kristal, one of Dr. Sawyer’'s assistants. I was born and raised in South Carolina. After graduating from Lexington High School, I attended Midlands Technical College and graduated in 2004 as a Certified Dental Assistant. During my career so far I have worked in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, friends and family. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Sherri Roland

Hello! I'm Sherri - one of Dr. Sawyer's assistants. I grew up in Swansea, South Carolina and graduated from Swansea High School. I attended Midlands Technical College, graduating in 1998 as a Certified Dental Assistant. I enjoy working with our patients on a daily basis to meet their dental needs. I have truly enjoyed becoming a part of Dr. Sawyer's office and worknig with a wonderful staff.

After dental hours are up, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two kids and friends. My family spends a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing and swimming.

After completing his dental education, Dr. Sawyer served for 3 years in the U.S. Army Dental Corp. He spent 20 years in the U.S. Army Reserve where he attained the rank of colonel, retiring in 2006.
